Renovation

The building has great history and even more potential, but its current conditions are poor, prompting a re-development plan. The project will renovate the existing building into 105-115 condominiums on floors 5-34, with the lower 4 floors being upgraded for retail / entertainment / office uses. Completion is expected in 2010.

Major improvements are necessary to accommodate the conversion process, with renovations including:
Exterior Restorations: Masonry and window restorations
Life Safety: Fire detection & alarm, sprinklers & emergency lights, exiting and security system improvements
Building Circulation: Corridor, stair, and elevator improvements
Utility Upgrades: Replacement mechanical & electrical systems
Interior Restoration / Buildout: Condominium & Commercial Space
